The property surrounding the house originally consisted of vineyards, as well as fields to raise cotton, castor oil plants and garden vegetables.

This land was later converted into what is now the garden. This is an attractive flowered area where you can stroll around among a great variety of plants and trees.

The former water reservoir has been converted into a swimming pool in a sunny, sheltered corner of the garden.
